Seems that Welsh sheep farmers have brilliant instincts. (he had me at "…I'm not an economist".)
I wonder if there aren't parallels between economic conservatism and wilderness travel. Well, duh, of course there is, or I suppose I wouldn't be writing this.
Simple economics is simple economics whether you're talking about money or time or trekking:
- Less is still less.
- More = risk.
Obama would do well to bring a little SUL into the cabinet, no? I wonder if any of us would pass the heavy questions filter?
