Light with NOLS in Saguaro

March 16-18, 2007: I joined Carol, Don, and Andy as an instructor for a NOLS IC (“Instructors’ Course”)
on the topic of Lightweight Backpacking. This was my first trip into the Rincons and Saguaro NP. Here are a few photos and impressions.

    I have just finished listening to Carol’s podcast. One of the best yet. I would have loved to have seen their faces when she excitedly mentioned her muffin cooking! I would also have liked to have seen their faces when they picked up those light packs after lugging 60lbs for sooooo long!
