Between June 29 and July 13, I led a trek with Eric Vann and the Montana BSA High Adventure Base (link) with BSA Venturing Crew One (link) in the Bob Marshall Wilderness. We completed 105 miles in 13 days without resupply that included packrafting descents of Danaher Creek, the South Fork of the Flathead River, the West Fork of the South Fork of the Sun River, the South Fork of the Sun River, and across Gibson Reservoir, as well as an off-trail traverse along the crest of the Chinese Wall from Larch Hill Pass to White River Pass. Read more about this trip in the Bozeman Daily Chronicle, Great Falls Tribune (here and here), and the Billings Gazette.
