Why Being Outside Should Not Stop at Labor Day

Why is it that the vast majority of outdoor enthusiasts seem to end their “camping season” at Labor Day?

Aren’t they missing the best reasons to:

Need a fire.

Fish in a snowstorm.

Chasefir
Hang out in the tent and play cards because doing anything else is really uncomfortable.

Enjoy those quiet, untainted moments where there is nobody around, and it’s just you vs. the weather, and yes, it’s a battle. But from the comfort and warmth of a winter sleeping bag, isn’t it nice to hear a nine year old boy say simply, “I’m SO glad we’re out here.”

So, get out there and enjoy it.

NO RVs!
